What’s happening in Ga^3in universe?
We inherited “the most hated” title from Duke Alma Mater. Many basketball fans consider Duke the most hated school, but it doesn’t preclude them from winning.
How did we deserve the most hated title? We do what’s not expected in the industry:
- charge tickets for our events;
- do not admit dubious KOL’s;
- do not allow BD’s to our events;
- confirm every person through linkedin.

Mission
It’s our mission to find and highlight the best founders in the space that are redefining an undefined space of AI + Web3, and we are doing good on that front.
Fund I
We’ve made our first 6 investments that are worth 1.5m$ now. That’s our GP stake. I am looking for LP’s that would stay behind our mission. Drop me a DM or I’ll find you. I have a list of LP’s which would be awesome to work with. That means if I haven’t reached out to you - you are not that awesome according to my standards or we just don’t know each other well enough.
Syndicate
I am proud of our Circle deal - 6x for investors so far. What I learned? Do not try to be equitable - if one investor wants to take the full allocation - don’t cap him to give others a participation rights - they might not follow through. That deal was at 40% discount to previous VC round. A lot of folks withdrew their commits after requesting an allocation.
What next? We have Ripple and Consensys in the works, and had some BNB treasury allocations. Assessing and syndicating them takes tremendous work, and since we are not a broker-dealer yet, I will offer only subscription based deal distribution. After we receive a broker-dealer we’ll charge an arm and a leg for transactions.
Boston Blockchain Week - 9/9
We will be opening the Boston Blockchain Week with our pitch competition. Want to pitch? Buy your ticket ASAP. Ga^3in team + portfolio projects (basically our team as well) would rent an AirBnB for a week to stay in Boston. Who wants to participate in our Boston house?
TGE Summit - 9/17
Our own conference with 57 Maiden- no panels or fluff, Adam calls it GitHub for Go-To-Market, only tear-down strategy sessions. You’ll leave with an exact template to prepare for your TGE. As my Alma Mater is saying - tuition is barely covering the costs, so you should donate to ensure smooth running of a university. So we welcome sponsors as well. Early sign-up will be available on Friday. Participation would be capped to 100 startup founders.
Q4 West + Asia Tour
I am packing my bag to fly to Korea on 9/20 and coming back to NYC on 10/18. Trip: Korea, Singapore, SF, LA. Target - raise 20m$ for the fund, invest in 4 projects, host 10 events, speak at 20 events, meet 400+ founders, create a pipeline of 1m$ sponsorship deals.
